One person killed after a suicide bomber exploded in German bar
One person has been killed after a suicide bomber exploded in a wine bar in the southern German city of Ansbach. Eleven others are injured.
The dead person is probably the perpetrator of the explosion, according to police.
The area around the bar is now under lockdown and a nearby music festival has been canceled.
According to German sources, the explosion at Eugens Weinstube-Eugene’s Winebar took place at around 10:00 p.m. local time. It said that Bavarian interior minister Joachim Herrmann was on his way to the scene.
