Ongoing Palestinian barrage reaches 650 rockets on Day 2

According to official figures released on the evening of Day 2 of the Palestinian offensive, three victims were killed and 117 injured – 4 seriously. The Palestinians fired a total of 650 rockets into Israel, of which 173 were intercepted by Iron Dome. The IDF struck 260 terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu announced after the security cabinet meeting that he had ordered the iDF to expand  its counter-terror operations in Gaza and further build up infantry, artillery and armored forces in the Gaza sector.
