Operations resume at Frankfurt airport following security breach, evacuation

Operations resumed at Terminal A of Germany's Frankfurt Airport on Wednesday afternoon following a security-related evacuation in the morning. The terminal was cleared after a traveler undergoing a security check fled inside and disappeared into the crowd. The traveler was later arrested and taken in for questioning. Arriving flights were temporarily diverted to nearby airports while many departing flights were delayed or cancelled.
