Over 1,000 ISIS terrorists killed in Russian operation in Syria: general
The commander of Russia's forces in Syria claimed Wednesday that Russian airstrikes in support of a Syrian army operation in Hama province have killed over 1,000 ISIS terrorists. Col. Gen. Sergei Surovikin said the 329 strikes have also destroyed 27 armored vehicles and 48 pickup trucks mounted with heavy weapons. He also claimed that 15 to 25 ISIS fighters in suicide belts have been killed, and four or five car bombs have been destroyed, during each day of the ongoing operation to liberate the town of Akerbat.
