Over 11 killed in coordinated assault on Baghdad gas plant

A car bomb blew up at the entrance to a natural gas plant in northern Baghdad early Sunday morning, allowing a group of fighters in another vehicle to enter the complex and attack security forces inside. More than 11 people were killed and 21 others were wounded in the assault on the facility in Taiji. The attackers set fire to several gas storage tanks before the security forces regained control, reports said.
