Over 17 killed in two suicide bombings in northern Syria

At least 17 people were killed in suicide bombings by Islamic State at two restaurants in the northern Syrian city of Qamishli on Thursday morning. Qamishli, located in Hasaka province on the Turkish border, has about 90,000 residents, mostly Kurds, with some Assyrians and Armenians.
