Over 22 killed, 70 wounded in two Baghdad car bombings
Two car bombings by suicide bombers in taxis packed with explosives took place Thursday morning in Baghdad. In the first attack, eight people were killed and 30 people were wounded on a crowded commercial street in the eastern suburb of Al-Jidida. Later, 14 were killed and dozens were wounded at a police checkpoint in a residential area in the northern part of the Iraqi capital.
