Over 25 killed, including Syrian rebel leader, in bombing near Quneitra

A car bomb exploded Wednesday afternoon at a building being used as a command center for a US-backed Syrian rebel group, Jabhat Thuwwar Souriya, outside the Syrian town of Quneitra close to the Israeli border. As a result of the massive explosion in the village of Asheh, the building collapsed and over 25 rebel fighters were killed including the group's leader Abu Hamza al-Naimi. The bombing was apparently carried out by local cells of the Al-Sabirin organization trained and operated by Hizballah as DEBKAfile's intelligence and military sources have reported.
