Pakistani helicopter crash kills Norwegian, Philippines envoys
A Pakistan military helicopter carrying diplomats to the launch of projects in northern Pakistan crashed on Friday killing six people, including the ambassadors of Norway and the Philippines and the wives of the ambassadors of Malaysia and Indonesia, the army said. Taliban claimed to have shot it down. Pakistan authorities say it was a technical fault. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was traveling to the event in a separate aircraft. The ambassadors of Poland and the Netherlands were among the injured.
