Palestinian detained for murdering Israeli soldier near Qalqilya

The body of an Israeli soldier, Sgt. Tomer Hazan, from Bat Yam, was discovered Saturday near the Palestinian West Bank town of Qalqilya. Nadal Amr, 42, a Palestinian from Beit Amin, a village near Qalqilya, has been arrested for his abduction and murder.  The soldier's family has been informed. Amr confessed to his IDF captors that he met the soldier at his workplace in Israel and invited him to visit the village. He then murdered him and hid the body in a well. Nadal Amr’s relatives have been arrested as accomplices. More detentions are expected.
