Palestinian Fatah mourns Har Adar killer as an “heroic martyr”
The Fatah movement, which is led by Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, published an announcement hailing Nimer Mahmoud Ahmed Aljamal as a “heroic martyr” for murdering three Israelis at Har Adar Tuesday. A fourth security officer was injured before shooting the killer dead. A notice of mourning was posted on the Fatah Facebook page.
Security forces entering the Palestinian gunman’s village of Beit Sureq were pelted with rocks. They arrested three of his relatives and placed the village under lockdown.
Aljami was regularly employed by a Har Adar family and carried an Israeli permit, like 70,000 other Palestinians who cross into Israel daily for work. Another 32,000 are employed by Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria.
