Palestinian gunman shoots three soldier near Bethel

A gunman, later identified as a Palestinian security officer, shot and injured three Israeli soldiers, one seriously injured, in an attack on a checkpoint outside Bethel near Ramallah Monday afternoon. They were taken to Hadassah hospital in Jerusalem. The Palestinian was shot dead.
