Palestinian Hamas Purim plot foiled

Two Hamas cell members were detained in time to avert an attack on the IDF’s military checkpoint at Abu Dis, in the Jerusalem area on Purim, March 5. The two were found in possession of a Kalashnikov machine gun, several magazines and a pistol, as well as a getaway car. One of the two, a man of 36, comes from the Jerusalem village of Azaria; his accomplice is from Kafr Bureka in northern West Bank. They will soon stand rial before a military court.
