Palestinian hunger striker rearrested on leaving hospital

Muhammed Alan, who refused food for two months in protest against his administrative detention as a terrorist suspect, was rearrested Wednesday when, after making a full recovery, he walked out of the Barzilai Hospital in Ashdod. Waiting police officers nabbed him on a military warrant issued by the OC Southern Command and transferred him to a prison facility in central Israel.
