By the end of Tuesday, 20 fires were raging in communities adjoining the Gaza Strip from the north to the south, ignited by Palestinian incendiary kites and balloons. Fire fighters raced between one blaze and the next. It is estimated that it will take 10 to 15 years for the damaged farm crops, vegetation and woodland to grow back. Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman admitted that military high-tech experts have not come up with a solution for this form of terror, although they are working on it day and night. At least one minister is calling for a return to the targeted assassinations of Hamas leaders as the only way to put a stop to this weapon of terror.
