Palestinian medic shot while trying to stab police officer in Jerusalem

Dr. Hazzem Al-Julani, a Palestinian doctor attacked a police officer with a knife in the Old City of Jerusalem on Friday. The victim was slightly hurt before policemen on the spot shot the assailant to stop the attack. The critically injured medic was taken to Hadassah hospital on Mt. Scopus where he was pronounced dead of his wounds.
