Palestinian terrorist gets four life sentences for multiple murder

Asem Barghouti was sentenced to four life sentences by an Israeli military court for two murderous shooting attacks in December 2018. The first left two Israeli soldiers dead at a bus stop near the Givat Assad outpost, and the second outside Ofra injured a pregnant woman who lost her baby. Several people were also injured. Barghouti was arrested after a month-long manhunt. His brother Salih was killed while attempting to escape arrest.
