Palestinians expand rocket radius to Beersheba

Two Grad missiles were fired Saturday evening at Beersheba, 40 kilometers from the Gaza Strip in a widening radius of Palestinian fire. One was intercepted by an Iron Dome battery. Earlier, a pair of Grads was directed at Ofakim, 27 km from the Gaza Strip. Here too Iron Dome knocked one down. Friday, the BBC quoted Hamas as promising a ceasefire “within hours.” The IDF held its fire for a day and a half. Nonetheless 30 rockets were fired by Friday midnight.
