Palestinians: Gaza government building razed
The four-floor building housing the Hamas government in Gaza City was bombed five times by the Israeli Air Force before it was destroyed, Palestinians reported early Saturday. Explosions crackled through the city. There were no casualties. They reported that other IAF raids targeted the underground tunnel network used to smuggle weapons into the Gaza Strip through Egypt from Iran, Syria or the Lebanese Hizballah. The IDF spokesman reported 200 air strikes against terrorist targets during Friday night. Saturday morning saw raids against terrorist targets in Jebalya, Khan Younis and Rafah. A reported attack on the Gaza City stadium is not confirmed.
