Palestinians injured when mob attacks police around Temple Mount

At least 10 Palestinians were injured in violent clashes Sunday night after hurling rocks at Israeli police posted around Temple Mount and tried to block roads. Earlier, Waqf officers prevented Muslim worshippers from ascending the shrine to pray at Al Aqsa in protest against the installation of metal detectors at the gates. They staged a mass prayer outside the gates which evolved into mob violence.
