Palestinians launch “day of rage” by burning Joseph’s Tomb
As all the Palestinian organizations embarked on a “day of rage” to fuel further terror, a mob burst into the Joseph’s Tomb compound, near Nablus, early Friday and torched the building with firebombs. It was badly damaged. Head of the Samaria Council Yossi Dagan condemned the “barbaric” attack on a venerable Jewish shrine with historic significance to world culture, for which the Palestinian Authority and its head were responsible. In Jerusalem, 6,000 police and soldiers are on guard for fresh Palestinian outbreaks of mob violence and terror attacks. Troops are standing by at potential flashpoints in Judea and Samaria.
