Palestinians step up rocket attacks on Israel from Gaza
An anti-tank rocket from Gaza aimed at an Israeli military patrol on the border Monday missed its target. The patrol fired back with mortars. The sixth rocket launched against the Israeli town of Sderot Monday morning exploded near a synagogue during the Passover service. Two of the five launched earlier at the town damaged a row of shops and roads. The other three landed on open ground in the nearby Shear Hanegev region. A Code Red alert warned the population of the incoming rockets.
