Paris meeting: Boko Haram is threat to W. and Central Africa
West African leaders and US and European officials met in Paris Saturday to discuss the threat posed by the Nigerian Islamist Boko Haram to western and central Africa. The al Qaeda-linked terrorists have killed thousands of people in recent years. Last month, it kidnapped hundreds of schoolgirls from a northeastern village. As they met, Boko Haram attacked a Chinese construction company camp in the far north of Cameroon. One person may have been killed and 10 are missing.
