Paris motorist runs down policewoman outside presidential residence
Eyewitnesses say a motorist, driving the wrong way, deliberately ran down a policewoman outside President Francois Hollande’s residence early Thursday. The four people in the vehicle jumped out at once. Police detained two and are hunting the other pair. The incident is suspected of being linked to the wave of Islamist terror that hit Paris last week. The injured policewoman said the driver looked her in the eye as he struck her. She was thrown on the hood of the car and her wrist slightly injured.
