Paris police arrest dozens of suspects in counterterror raids
Acting on a tip-off received by the French security services, large forces from the Paris police raided two areas north of the capital on Thursday and arrested dozens of suspects. The operation focused on two Muslim areas, one near the Dassault mosque and the other in the area of the Al Bayyinah Islamic Library, as the entire neighborhood was cordoned off and helicopters patrolled the skies. The raids were carried out in cooperation with France's DGSI domestic security agency and the GIGN counterterrorism unit.
