Pathologist takes stand for defense in trial of IDF Sgt. Elor Azaria

Another day of defense testimony started on Thursday in the trial of IDF Sgt. Elor Azaria at a military court in Jaffa. Azaria is charged with manslaughter over the killing of a subdued terrorist. The first witness was a member of the Magen David Adom emergency medical service who wrote the service's report on the incident, which occurred in Hebron in March. He was followed by Prof. Yehuda Weiss, a pathologist who concluded that the death was not caused by Azaria but by the soldiers who subdued the terrorist.
