US Vice President Mike Pence on Monday evening conveyed a message from President Donald Trump in his address to the AIPAC Policy Conference in Washington: “American stands with Israel, Today, tomorrow and always.” He went on to say that while progress has been made in the fight against the Islamic State (ISIS) in Iraq and Syria, “We will not allow the defeat of ISIS to become a victory for Iran.” Pence continued: Iran “aids and abets terrorist groups that sit on Israel’s doorstep,” and added: “Unless the nuclear deal is fixed within the coming months, the United States will withdraw from the deal immediately.” The vice president stressed: “The US will never allow Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon.”  The next speaker, UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, declared that Jerusalem would for ever be the capital of the state of Israel
