Petah Tikva and Rishon Letzion take three direct rocket hits from Gaza

Palestinians extended their rocket range from Gaza early Thursday to two towns in central Israel, Petah Tikva and Rishon Lezion, A house in Petah Tikva was hit and 5 people injured in the fire that then spread to the vehicles parked outside. In Rishon Lezion, a building was damaged but no casualties. Idan Avigal, the 6-yearold boy injured in Sderot on Wednesday, died of his wounds overnight. His mother was also injured.

Altogether seven Israeli civilians were killed by Palestinian rocket fire since Monday .
