Pilot killed when he crash-landed helicopter on Manhattan rooftop

The pilot was the only person aboard the Agusta A 100E helicopter when he made an emergency landing atop a 54-storey office building on Seventh Avenue, Manhattan. He did not survive. The crash sparked a rooftop fire which was quickly brought under control while the building was evacuated in minutes. No one else was hurt.
