Plane crash in Colombia kills 76. Five survive
Only five people survived out of the 81 passengers aboard the chartered aircraft from Bolivia that crashed on approaching Medellin in Colombia Monday night. The passengers included members of the top Brazilian Chapecoense football team, who were on their way to play Medellin’s Atletico Nacional in the final of the Copa Sudamericana club competition. The club has cancelled all events. The pilot signaled before the crash that he had electrical problems.
