PM names Amsalem communications minister

David Amsalem, coalition Knesset whip, was named new communications minister in Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s transition cabinet for the period up to the September elections. Earlier appointments include another two Likud loyalists, former Transport Minister Yisrael Katz as foreign minister and MK Amir Ohana for the justice portfolio.
