Poland to acquire most advanced type of Patriot missiles from US

At a news conference on Thursday, the Polish defense minister announced that his country has signed a memorandum with the US for the purchase of "the most modern configuration" of Patriot missiles. Minister Antoni Macierewicz said the system is "especially adapted for the needs of the Polish army". The announcement came as US President Donald Trump visited Warsaw, the first stop of his second overseas trip since entering the Oval Office.
