Police disperse illegal meeting of northern wing of Islamic Movement

Israeli policemen dispersed a meeting of the Islamic Movement's northern wing, which has been declared illegal, on Thursday in Jerusalem. Abu Bakr Al-Shimi, one of the heads of the movement, was arrested and taken to district headquarters for questioning. Police also broke up an unapproved demonstration that took place outside the venue, a hotel in the eastern part of the city.
