Police: Gunman killed at Copenhagen metro committed two attacks
Danish police reported Sunday that the gunman killed in a firefight at the Copenhagen metro station was the lone culprit of the shooting attacks that killed two people and injured 5 police officers early that night. He alone is held responsible for shooting one civilian and injuring three police officers at a café holding a discussion of free speech attended by Swedish artist Lars Vilks, who was under death threat for lampooning Muhammad; and for murdering Dan Uzan who was guarding the city’s main synagogue and injuring another two policemen. The Danish police say there is no indication that any other terrorists were involved in the two attacks, which recalled the Islamist massacres last month at the Charlie Hebdo magazine and a Jewish market in Paris.
