Police release recent photo of Tel Aviv gunman still at large
A recent photo of Nashat Melhem was finally released Monday, four days after he gunned down 10 Israelis on Dizengoff Street, killing two victims. Police had asked the public to help in the search for the killer, which is focused on North Tel Aviv, where he had a job and where his discarded mobile phone was found. They were criticized for not releasing a new photo with the request for information. There were more callers-in Monday to the police with reported sightings of Melhem. However, many Tel Aviv parents kept their children home from school for the second day, so long as the terrorist was on the loose.
