Policeman injured, 2 Palestinians held in Jerusalem disorder
Israeli police broke up Sunday a Palestinian mob lobbing rocks and bottle bombs at the Jerusalem Old City’s Damascus Gate.– first at a group of Israeli civilians, then at police officers come to restore order. One policeman suffered light head wounds from a flying rock. Two Palestinians were detained. In another incident, Israeli vehicles were damaged by Palestinian rocks on the Hussan bypass road in south Jerusalem. The incidents occurred ahead of the Jerusalem Day’s Flags Parade to pass through the Old City’s Muslim Quarter.
