Powerful blast in Benghazi

A powerful explosion caused serious damage to a Libyan foreign ministry building and central bank branch in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi on Wednesday, the first anniversary of the al Qaeda attack on the United States consulate in that town and murder of four Americans, including ambassador Chris Stevens. It was not immediately known if the blast, apparently by a car bomb, had resulted in casualties.
