President Trump hosts Jordan’s Abdullah on Feb. 2

President Donald Trump will meet Jordan’s King Abdullah for breakfast on Feb 2, White House press secretary Sean Spicer announced Monday. The king will be the first Muslim ruler to be welcomed at the White House.. The announcement followed Trump’s ban on entry for citizens from seven terror-prone Muslim nations (not including Jordan). DEBKAfile: High on the agenda of their meeting is the transfer of the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, the fight against ISIS, Syria, and increased US economic aid for the kingdom. Abdullah arrived in Washington Sunday and he met Vice President Mike Pence for breakfast Monday.
