Priebus: Romney possible candidate for State – but others too
Donald Trump’s incoming chief of staff Reince Priebus did not rule out former presidential nominee and Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney serving in the next administration. In an interview on ABC Sunday, he referred to Romney’s meeting with Trump Saturday, which raised a storm of speculation. Asked if Romney could be nominated secretary of state, Priebus said “anything is possible,” adding that other people are still in the running for the post, including former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliany and South Carolina Governor Nikki Hailey.
