Prime Minister Netanyahu lands in New York

On arrival in New York early Wednesday, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu blasted Iran’s military presence in Syria in support of Bashar Assad. He is accompanied on this trip by Mrs. Netanyahu, advisers and reporters. Thursday, the prime minister delivers a speech to the UN General Assembly in which he promises to tell the world what Israelis expect of the international community after signing a nuclear deal with Iran. Before taking off from Ben Gurion airport, Netanyahu said: “As the Middle East sinks further day by day, and yields up territory to Muslim extremists, Israel stands out as an island of progress and stability.".
