Prime Minister welcomed aboard US carrier
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu paid a visit Monday to the USS George H.W. Bush, the American aircraft carrier which dropped anchor opposite Haifa Saturday. Commanding Officer Capt. Will Pennington greeted him by saying that the ship’s visit to Israel is meant “to enhance US-Israel relations as the two nations reaffirm their continued commitment to the collective security of the European and Middle East Regions” The captain also affirmed the “enduring commitment to our shared interests and commitment to fight against our common enemies.”
