Probe finds how an Israeli soldier died in a tank accident

The initial investigation into the tank accident on Saturday that killed a soldier and injured three found that when their tank plunged three meters into a gulch, its fire extinguisher was activated by an exploding shell. Three of the soldiers climbed out of the tank, while the driver was suffocated by the escaping gas and smoke. Two were badly hurt and hospitalized and one suffered minor injuries.
