Public gatherings held down to 100. Israel cofirms 82 coronavirus cases

The new restrictions announced Wednesday by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Health Minister Yakov Litzman sharply reduced the size of public gatherings in closed premises to a maximum of 100. Under another new directive, people with influenza symptoms are told to stay home until they recover, even without being diagnosed with corona. But schools will reopen as usual on Thursday, after the Purim festival.
