Putin and Erdogan sign Turkish gas pipeline to Europe deal

President Vladimir Putin on a visit to Istanbul signed a string of strategic deals with his counterpart Tayyip Edrogan Monday. They covered the Turkish Stream gas pipeline to Europe under the Black Sea, agreements on bilateral economic political and defense ties, and Moscow’s consent to lift restrictions on Turkish agricultural exports. The two leaders also agreed to intensify military contacts, after discussing Syria, the Aleppo crisis and Turkey’s Euphrates Operation i.e. invasion of northern Syria.
