Putin calls Netanyahu to protest comments on Syria chemical attack

Russian President Vladimir Putin called Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Thursday to express his displeasure over the Israeli leader's condemnation of Syria following Tuesday's deadly chemical attack. According to the Kremlin, Putin said it is unacceptable to make "groundless accusations" before an international investigation of the incident in Idlib province.
