Putin receives Erdogan at Sochi to discuss Syria

Presidents Vladimir Putin and Recep Erdogan will focus on “normalizing the situation” in northeast Syria, according to a Kremlin statement ahead of their meeting at Sochi on Tuesday. Later Tuesday, the five-day ceasefire negotiated between the US and Turkey for northeast Syria is due to expire.

    In the Kunduz province of Afghanistan, the Taliban attacked a check post in which 17 Afghan police personnel were killed. The attack took place on Monday night in Kunduz District, Aliabad, while firing between militants and security personnel continued for several hours.

    Sochi, why Sochi?
    What is the historical value of Sochi?
    Because it previously was Turkish territory?
    Best place Sevastopol, better climate, also on the sea shore, and with a rich history.
    Erdogan, go for Sevastopol next time!
