Putin sees artificial intelligence and drones ruling world’s future

In a lecture to students Friday, Russian President Vladimir Putin looked ahead to future world rulers.
He said that “whoever reaches a breakthrough in developing artificial intelligence will come to dominate the world. This breakthrough offered “colossal opportunities and threats.” Its controller would be the ruler of the world. Putin also warned strongly against “anyone winning a monopolistic position” adding the Russian would share its known in artificial intelligence with other nations.
The Russian leader predicted that future wars will be fought by drones, and "when one party's drones are destroyed by drones of another, it will have no other choice but to surrender."
