Putin to address Dumas on Ukraine Tuesday

After Crimea made a formal application for annexation to Russia Monday, the ruble was declared the region’s second official currency. Moscow has called for the creation of an international “support group” to mediate Ukraine crisis. It must include Ukrainian recognition of Sunday’s Crimean referendum which overwhelmingly approved secession to Russia, according to Moscow's proposal.
President Vladimir Putin will address the Dumas Tuesday to lead a special debate on the annexation of Crimea and its international impact.
