Putin warns Macron against “dangerous actions” in Syria

Russian President Vladimir Putin Friday called President Emmanuel Macron with a warning: “The most important thing is to refrain from ill-considered and dangerous actions [in Syria] that would constitute a gross violation of the UN Charter and have unpredictable consequences.” Macron regretted Russia’s use of its veto to block a UN Security Council vote on the Syrian attack.
