Putin’s spokesman: US corruption charge “outrageous, insulting”

The Russian president’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov protested as “outrageous and insulting" the view expressed by the White House in Washington that Vladimir Putin is “corrupt”  Peskov commented to a conference call with journalists: "It is clear that negative stuff is being accumulated to be used against the head of our state … to exert pressure and influence the course of the future election campaign."
